Nova Jaws for Oneway?

>I have the old threaded Oneway chuck. Can the Nova jaws be used on this? I thought I read that they could but I would like to be sure before purchasing.

Thanks, George

>They will fit and work fine, but you will not have the jaw extension overtravel protection because you will not have the extension limited pin in one jaw. So if you use them, be cautious about how far you open them up, but otherwise several have reported good success using Nova jaws on the Oneway chucks. Personally, I don't recommend it because of the potential safety issue.

>Thanks Lyn, I will be the only one using them. I want to get the 25mm pin jaws for small dovetail recess. The oneway spigot jaws are not a continuous curve and don't seem to grip will in the shallow recess in my experience. I would think if one wanted a safety pin the jaw could be drilled and one inserted.
