New Lathe made it!
Round & Round
>Well, it got here safe and sound somehow. The pallet it was on was made from 1/2" garbage wood and was completely destroyed. Had to unpack the lathe and get a lift under the bed to load it into my truck, but at least it's here safe and sound! I'll get it wired in tomorrow and start spinning! Thanks again to Chris K for the lead.

Glad to hear that the lathe made it safe and sound, I have been having a BLAST with mine. I notice that you upgraded from a mini lathe as well. This sucker can make a blank into shavings in 1/4 the time. I filled a 55 gal barrel with the shavings already and ran out of WOOD!
Toolnut has done well by me and you, and my dad is ordering the same lathe from them tomorrow!

>That is a good looking lathe.....just like mine. Glad the lathe made it safely. The pallet that mine was bolted to was excellent. In fact, I save the wood for later use. Looks like everything will be going up in price due to the oil prices.....lets hope the quality stays up or gets better.
