>Wet sand with MicroMesh to 12000 grit then use a good grade of plastic polish to remove the swirl marks ... I like either Hut or Novus Plastic Polish...

My approach

David Sophusson, Custer Wa.

>I only sand to 320 then with a piece of paper towel I apply a little auto rubbing compound followed by a final finish with auto buffing compound. It has a nice deep looking shine and stays that way.

Sophie, in the uncommonly dry NW

>I also use micro mesh up to 12000 wet after I have dry sanded up to 400. Maybe it's my eyes but I don;t have any swirls after that.

Bonnie Klein sands to 600 and uses Brasso. I have just been able to find Brasso here but haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
