Cherry and Maple Platter

>I glued some Brazilian Cherry and Maple kiln dried wood in a pattern crossing opposites from top to bottom. The platter is 11 1/2 X 1 1/2 inches. I can't get a good picture of the cross patter to show. I left it fairly thick so it has a solid feel to it.
It looks like the black and white cookie from the Seinfeld show.
