>Hey Mark....Thanks for asking. My wife and I are on a 2 month trip in the NW. We started at the Provo symposium, and are currently in Portland. I plan to pick up a few hundred pounds of Maple burl, myrtlewood and madrone burl. Enough to keep me busy for the next year.

The Provo symposium was great. They celebrated their 25th anniversary with a special show. There were about 700 attendees.

I am going to have to call a napalm strike in on my shop so we can get to the lathe. You and Jane have an open invitation to dinner any time it is convenient. We don't have to do any turning. That is, if you don't want to. The next time I visit you I am going to try your Nichols lathe. They are on my short list for my next lathe. Only problem is I am a little short on the green to make a purchase.
