Drats, appears to be out of stock. I'm going to give them a call to make sure.

Re: Glue Pot Baby Bottle Warmer

I'm going to Target in a bit and look in the baby section for something like this. I need to do a little work today. Thanks for the link and info.
What are the dimensions of the receptacle?

Funny, mine doesn't get hot enough, kind of drives me nuts. It is also a tiny unit (the glue pot), be warned.
Went to use my old cast iron glue pot on the warmer and that definitely does not work as the warmer is sized to hold the LV glue pot so the old-fashioned cast iron sits on the raised lip. As an aside, stainless doesn't mean leave your water sitting in it either, I forgot it one day and now have some rust spots. I may end up doing what I did with my cast iron which is to bake on an oil finish to seal it up (regular bacon fat or canola oil works), just like seasoning a cast iron frying pan.
For the price though, it's not a bad deal at all, and who knows perhaps it's user error as far as it running too hot and I'l figure out my glue recipe a bit better.

I have one in a box never used...

My shop is rarely warm, and when I use HG for musical instruments, it's HHG.
If you want it for the price that it was when I bought it, It's yours. I'll cover shipping. (fairly sure it was $99 back then).
It probably has the aluminum top bowl, but from what I recall, they can be interchanged.
I just got it out of the box...
David Weaver
..it is indeed aluminum bowl/pot and indeed completely unused.

Can't argue with that! Send your mailing address to my email above and I'll send it out. Once you use it and confirm you're satisfied, you can send money whatever method you prefer (check, PayPal, etc). No sense in it sitting on my shelf waiting for magic to make my shop 80 degrees all year.

I don't see your email address David. Mine is charliestanford@hotmail.com. Drop me a quick note.
I'm going to Paypal or Venmo you the money before you ship. I insist.

Stuart Johnson
3-1/2" diameter x 3" deep. The top is about 5" tall but I don't think it would work well with the glue much above the water line. I use a jelly jar with about an inch or two of glue at any time. When heating up or not actively using the glue keep the top on to help maintain the heat.
