L. Bailey #20 circle plane
Mike Baker
>Found this in the bottom of an old cardboard box at a yard sale.
Rusted, but some Jappanning still showing on the inside areas.
I soaked it in Kerosene for several weeks, and was able to get the adjusting screw that adjusts the radius to operate.
It is missing the two medallions on the front and back of the frame, and the "wing" on the radius adjusting screw is gone.I sharpened the blade, and it cuts beautifully!
Is this thing worth something?? The blade is marked L Bailey,
Dec. 12th,1876
Thanks in advance!
