>I'm a big fan of Chris's and I'm eagerly awaiting Christmas morning, when I hope my hints come true (i.e. e-mailing the address from which Chris's book can be purchased to prospective gift buyers), but I have to say that the book review on Amazon is shall we say, over hyped. Actually, it's hilarious.

Chris is a great guy, but this review, by an esteemed reviewer named "Landscape W. Shipwreck" (I want to see the birth certificate!) is so over the top, it has Chris walking on water, creating modern literature and discovering woodworking at the beginning of time.

O.K. Chris, fess up. Either you are secretly Landscape himself or he's on the payroll. ( this is intended to be a joke.)

By the way, it's on my Christmas list as well and I'm hoping I can read come the holiday. I visit both of his blogs regularly and I really enjoy reading them (along with the other entries too!!!) Pirate sawing will always be a favorite.

Fortunately I think his review was dead on and the minor issues were ones that I thought about but not in a concrete fashion. His insight about the vise issue strikes true with me now.

Still love the book, just as Leif does. I'm glad most are appreciative of the excellent writing style.

Thanks Chris- for the book and introducing me to Leif's fine looking web page.
