Headed downslope, event horizon in sight

Bill Houghton, overcast in Sebastopol, CA

>I stopped by the last day of an estate sale today (over by the lumberyard, where I was getting some more molding for the kitchen - well, to be honest, several miles from it; but closer to the yard than to our house) and picked up my third "Wards Master" plane. I now own a #4, #9-1/2 type block, and ta-da! a #6. Horn on tote split off, but for $10 for that and a couple of other small items, I guess I can handle some repair.

I think I may be on the road to being a Wards plane gatherer... They're nice tools, excellent irons.
