>If you grind the rivet head off the lateral lever on a plastic-adjuster-knob model plane it leaves JUST ENOUGH rivet to mash and install the lever onto a brass-adjuster-knob plane. Didn't need to go out searching for a new rivet or make a mess trying to mash a nail in there. Fits nice and tight too. Life's little triumph for the day ! Thanks to all here for the guidance ! Its coming out rather well.
