Legging up...

Scott in Douglassville, PA

>Maddie's chair broke yesterday. I had a couple chairs that have been sitting partly done for months (years?). Went ahead and legged one up for her today. I'll change the rake and splay and leg placement on the next one, but she's happy with her new chair...

Nice picture

>You do make her tie that hair back when she's in the shop with you, I hope - cute kids (your son there in the background looks a little more shy), and a nice looking chair.

>Thanks, Bill. Maddie's only just discovered handplanes; power tools are off-limits for now. Other than the ShopVac... ;^)

A lot of lessons learned on this chair so far. A lot of revisions for the next one, too - turnings, angles, leg placement. Ah, well.

>Yeah, it's going quick. Kindergarten and second grade. And you're probably right about the chairs - I'm still finishing Maddie's changing table!
