>The first time I drew a saw backwards to start a cut, the master dope slapped me up the back of my head and told me to never do that again.

Stephen, when I read this in your post way down below I first read it as to mean that either you had been slapped by the Master Dope, or that you was the Master Dope. I figured that neither one could be right, so I re-read it and got it straightened out. Still, I thought it quite funny.

Was out in the shop today and had a sudden inspiration to make a down and dirty clamp rack by running a rod onto two end blocks. I measured for the holes and bored 'em out with my brace. When I put the rod thru the holes I found that I had bored the holes at an angle and that the end blocks splayed out. Fortunately it looked pretty nice, so I continued on and hung it up. The thought that went thru my mind when I seen what I had done was "Where's a Master Dope Slapper when you need one?" Sheeeeeeeeesh, I could keep a Dope Slapper busy all day I swear.

T.O.

I'm the Master Dope in my shop.
