The hunt board is coming along fine - at my customary glacial pace. I've got the back and sides cut and mortised into the legs, and the thing actually stands up by itself. I cut the tenons on the bottom stretcher by hand last weekend and they're not too pretty. I'm contemplating recutting the entire piece. But if I recut everything I screw up, this will go on for years and there won't be a piece of hadwood left in South Carolina. I'll post some pics when I get a little further along.

Yeah, been mostly in lurk mode lately. I check in daily tho, hate to miss out on what's next for plastic, and what's new in the world of double handled saws. I'm betting that a big cross hair type gun-sight will be next. ;~)

Look forward to seeing pics of the huntboard. I shouldn't worry to hard about those mortices unless of coarse this project is destined for a Fine Woodworking photo shoot. If Jim shaver was brave enough to post a pic of his Martiam Dovetails a few years back, you've got nothing to worry about.
