removing dovetail waste
les winter
>I've seen 3 methods for removing the waste between the pins and tails: sawing with a coping saw, choping near the line and then chopping sideways at the end grain and chopping near the line and then chopping towards the line at an angle from around 1/3 the distance of the tail or pin height.
Does the last produce less tearout or have some other virtue?
thanks
