>I picked this up at the flea mkt today. Does anyone know who makes this. The only thing on it is the number 113. There's no names or makes whatsoever. I've wanted one of these forever so I'm pretty excited about it. The blade is in good shape and the coloring is only mild surface rust so it will be very easy to clean up.

>Stanley made a 113 circular plane - check the iron (although that is not foolproof). Union also made one exactly alike, although I can't recall the number.

The Ohio circular plane was numbered '0113' and had "Ohio tool Co Auburn NY" embossed on the plated knob. The lateral adjuster was twisted, not the usual Stanley two piece style, and the blade was tapered!

>Thanks guys I just looked and the only other marking anywhere is a patent date that isn't readable on the side dovetail. Nothing on the blade or anywhere else. Can't wait to use it. I guess I may have to design a project just for that tool.
