Cheque in the mail--thanks Rob!

Edward inVancouver

>I'v been waiting for the new LV catalouge, but instead I recieved a cheque from LV in the mail today... Sum of $18.08, and a form letter telling me that the new catalouge has the LV BU smoother that much cheaper, so they sent me a cheque for the difference! Had me totally floored! Cheque goes into my mayonnaise jar with all my other spare change and it'll get emptied before Christmas....

Receiving cheques from LV. Any affiliations???

HC Sakman

>Yet another Pro-LV post. OMG...! This company needs to NOT treat people like this and stop "affiliating" them!

>This is just the kind of cr@p they are always doing. That's why I was unhappy to see them fall out with FWW, since FWW was the only other company to be so goodd to me. FWW sent me half the money I spent on some videos, years after I purchased them, because they had dropped the price.

In some cases this kind of thing is so generous it almost screws (woodworking term) regular customers by ramping up the cost base in order to fund the nanny state. Still, one always knows they will be at a minimum fair.

I also got a check from LV today. There was a mix-up on some order and I called in the change, which they executed on my word over the phone, and got to me by mail today, from yesterday morning.

>You say: "There was a mix-up on some order and I called in the change, which they executed on my word over the phone, and got to me by mail today, from yesterday morning."

This is almost insane! Somebody has to stop this! A horrible example for other companies of all sorts...!
