>Well, I was walking through woodcraft yesterday and happened upon this book-"David Charlesworth's Furniture making Techniques". Now I have followed some of his writings in FW (Ruler Trick mainly) and was impressed so I picked up the book. I can say it's interesting, and well written. I really like the fact that he's only publishing tips that came from pragmatic solutions in his own shop. Also, this seems to be the only book covering the "twisted dovetails" that I've seen on this board before. very cool stuff. I've read alot about plane fettling, and have done a few planes, but he offers some great tips I've never heard before. His writings seem to offer an openness that others may not posess. For example, many times through the book he solicits advice from the readers if they have more experience in a certain technique then he does. I can admire someone who doesn't feel the need to believe that their way is THE way. Anyways, If you haven't seen this book yet, take a look at it.
PS. Apparently this book has been published for some time. So either I've missed it, or It hasn't been readily available in the US?!?
