Plane Orgy 2.0, Sep. 8 in Ottawa - Update

Here is the schedule for the day:
10:00 - 11:30 Lee Valley facilities visit
11:30 - 13:30 Shopping if desired, and lunch (individual arrangments)
13:30 - 18:30 PLANE ORGY! Planes coming out of your ears! :-D
18:30 - ? Dinner at the chic Prescott Hotel (tavern)
Among activities during the fest, at 15:00 we will have a plough and combination plane demonstration, courtesy of Frank D.
Then, by 16:00 we will hold a thinnest shaving contest, judged by Frank D., a former champion of such events, now retired :-) The winner will receive a prize...
Meanwhile, participants will have the opportunity to try a large number of planes, set up on numerous benches. We expect to have a large proportion of the LN plane offerings, and the quasi-totality of the Veritas and Utilitas planes from LV. Plus many other planes...
We will also have an antique tool dealer (the tools, not the dealer :-) , and Ed Paik (Medallion Toolworks) will be present to demonstrate his line of fine hand saws.
There is no cost associated to this other than the tools you'll end up buying :^D
Alchoolic beverages are allowed, bring your own poison (and cooler)... We do recommend moderation though, we don't want to give citations for planing under the influence :)
Everyone is welcome, regardless of experience or proficiency. Beginners will have the unique opportunity to discover the world of planes, with lots of people around to help, and experienced people will have the chance to test-drive the planes they were contemplating, and possibly compare their own planes with what's offered by the main manufacturers. We would like people to bring such planes with them, along with rare/unusual planes in their possession.
If there is sufficient demand, we could hold ad hoc seminars on certain topics, planes or techniques, let us know...
