>that I pulled together a carpentry plane before beginning this kitchen remodel. I'm only now getting to use it as I start trimming out windows. Special shout-out to Scott Burr for donating the lever cap for it.
It's pictured below, with the paint from a piece of trim that I'd back primed last night and trimmed to fit today. I'd purely HATE to have paint like that on my Wards Master or other good planes. Fortunately, most of it got scrubbed off after this pic, as I cleaned off the back of the redwood boards salvaged from the laundry room - the old mills tended to surface the face side only, leaving the back too rough to serve well as trim for a window.
Windows mostly trimmed now; next, I need to clean off the workbench so I can run some molding for the window head on one window.
