Memory jog - extreme rural restorations
Stephen Kirk in Quakertown PA
>At some point, I recall seeing or reading about a very rural historic restoration job. I remember that all the work was done with tools of that period. Also, the site was no where near a travelable road, so anyone working on it had to pack in themselves and their tools.
I've been trying to find some more information on the subject (maybe many places to this?), but web searches and my memory are both coming up empty. Has anyone else ever heard of something like this?
