>I've got one of those stuffed away somewhere... It's from the sixties, or maybe early seventies. Sears sold them - and maybe others did, too.

I tried mine out on a chisel or two, and maybe a plane iron, but never found the jig to be all that useful. I'll look around, but I doubt I have any sort of instruction manual for it. If I remember correctly, it was just a page or two. If I do find it, I'll scan it and email it to you.

I have one just like it

>It is so worthless that I could not sell it for $1 at our club sale. The only directions it needs is "Don't waste time trying to get it to do something useful"

>Hi Ernie,

I read Bill's post and I'm on "the bay" everyday. Didn't I already see that thing in one of your auctions last week?

Marv

PS....did you say you have a pile of hammers? I'm a collector of some tools but I don't collect collections. Well, that is unless I can get them cheap cheap cheap.

>Yes it was on last week and didn't sell with 16 watchers? so I figured knowing who made it might sell it this week? who knows. I'll pop some pictures for you on the hammers toss them in a pile untill it makes shipping worth while.
