>Thought I'd share this. Probably made in China, and in which case, they can keep it. I'm tired of China, and of all the U.S. manufactures who've outsoruced to China. I was very displeasded a few years ago to recieve two items from LV that where made in China.

There are quite a few originals on Ebay,other than the lack of bits why would someone want a new,high priced version? I recently picked up 4 Yankee#41's at an estate sale for $4/ea with the bits and a couple extra packs of phone company bits. Only one sold on the bay for over $50( I love bidding wars by ebay newbies) the rest were in the high teens to low twentys. And somewhere in this great country is a bunch of the original bits separated from their drills somehow.

>Yup, so it does. I didn't even read the write-up, and yet I knew it was Chinese made. Hey GW, take this push drill and all that other Chinese junk you got and stick up your South End! Goes for everybody else pushing their junk as well!!
I don't want to hear no jazz about how much it cost to produce stuff in the U.S. either, as the savings is not worth the cost of having stuff made overseas.

>I've only ever paid more than $1 once, for any of my five or six, and that was the only No. 45 I ever saw in the wild - the classic, black plastic handled Bell telephone model. This is my favorite for carpentry - more compact, fits well in the tool pouch, and the handle shape is good for awkward spots.
