Saskatoon rocks!
Charles R. Smith from Victoria
>Actually, Saskatoon has the best LV store in the country. I've been in them all (as Rob Lee can likely attest if he checks his computer for customer 130313), and I like Saskatoon best, thanks to the folks who work there (it's not the busiest store, so they have time to chat -- but don't tell Rob that!). I could never figure out why LV put one in Saskatoon since it's not the most populated part of Canada. It does have a very active arts community, as Jim Shaver said, boasting people like the turners Michael Hosaluk and (late) Frank Sudol.
However, Leonard (the senior Mr Lee) reminded me that in Saskatchewan people drive for four hours to go to a Riders football game, so he figured that they would drive an equal distance to go to a LV store. He is right. Besides, he grew up in Saskatchewan, so he has an emotional attachment to the place. (As do I.)
