A Satisfying Afternoon at the Bench
Mike Fitterling
>I found this little #80 up at Bill Phillips when I snuck away from Five Barns with a fellow woodworker for a couple hours to see what Bill had in his store. Nice find for $25, but it wasn't until this afternoon I got to really put it through its paces. I had 16 glued-up drawer sides to scrape smooth before doing the box joints tomorrow. A couple hours from starting and this scaper was sitting on the runway of the end of the last side of the last board. What a pleasant way to spend the afternoon, with nothing but the swish-swish of the scrapers and some mellow music in the background.
Cheers,
Mike
