>My brother Tom is clearing out the storage lockers he rents, as part of simplifying his life. He and his wife are up for the 4th, and he gave me, as an early birthday present, a set of chisels that were a gift from our uncle Edwin, given when Tom was a pre-teen or teenager. So - these date from the late 1950's or so.
I have no idea who was making chisels for Sears back then, but these are pretty little things, wooden handles and all. I'll be looking forward to cleaning them up and trying them out, once this kitchen remodel is done.
I'll definitely be keeping this box, collector value or no.
