So here is the series so far

Jerome Bias

>There is a chest at the Museum of Southern decorative arts that I really like. A couple of years ago I decided that I wanted to make a replica. But my skills weren't quite up to the task. So I decided to make a series of them each time the next one a little harder and a little closer to the original. I'm not quite there yet, But I am getting close. I think that I have one more iteration to go, before I have the goods. Anyway, this last version was my biggest challenge. Thanks for all of the help, especially on putting on the molding. By the way the folks at the Old Salem Brother's joinery shop are great.

Thank you,

Jerome Bias

Jerome, you have made a couple beautiful pieces!

>Each of these pieces embodies the feeling of vernacular art. I think that the "refined primitive" feel of the form and the finish creates the right balance for the design intent. Very nicely done.
