With my chaos it's difficult to find, but eventually I know it's somewhere in the "plane area" so I just sort and look until I find it.

Another answer is that I have a cheat for setting the blade that makes it very simple to use. formica table, set of metal shims that I can place under the toe, drop the blade square and tap...done.
