Sideways Gloat

>Last weekend I decided to this one of the large flea markets in the area It was the first event of the year and it was a beautiful day.
I spotted a 1/4" Stanley 750 chisel that I needed and within 5 minutes also located a Blue Grass 750 copy in the desirable 3/8" size.
After some time I found another tool friendly vendor and after staring at his stuff for 5 minutes and finding nothing I was set to leave. When I turned around our eyes met and I uttered the phrase that I have perfected through the past few years. "Got any saws"
He said "just that one over there...and the miter box goes with it."
I took a look and sure enough it was a classic Durall maple miter box. But the item laying inside it was what made my jaw drop. A Henry Disston and Son 12" backsaw. It had a fantastic handle with not a crack to be found. The blade is straight and it seems to have a lot of life left. I had looked at this area for 5 minutes and the saw detect-o-meter never uttered a beep. Something to be learned I guess.
Anyway after all was said and done the total for the 4 items was....
well lets just say I got change back from a $20 spot. A fantastic day over all.
Could whomever has the suck-o-meter run this one through and see how I did?
P.S. I can't believe that miter box is in that shape after 140 years.
LOL.
