>Thank you Stephen! I quartered a couple of pieces of apple this morning on the bandsaw. They were visibly curling away from the cut as I was moving them through. I wish I could cut 2 or 3" planks and sticker them, but am afraid they would wind like crazy. I suppose I will just have to be patient. Besides quartering all the wood, do you think it would make sense to skin the bark off as well and since I keep a de-humidifier running in my shop would it be better to keep the wood in there, or will this dry it too quickly? Thanks for your help.

It would be a good idea to remove the bark and scrape the inner bark to get to raw wood, it will dry better.
I do not where you live but it sounds like you have high humidity. You can keep it in your shop to help it dry. Good air circulation and out of direct sunlight is required. Inspect it periodically to see how it is progressing.
