Grinding M2

For my latest crazy idea (you'll hear about it if it works, otherwise it shall remain in the domain of darkness :-) I need to grind a 3" wide piece of M2 steel (that's square-ended to start with) at a 15 degree bevel. Tried it last night, and my white wheel clogs up in very short order, and even the coarse grey wheel that came with the grinder clogs quickly, requiring frequent dressing with the diamond dresser. It's very very slow going...
I also tried the sander-grinder sold at LV, with a zirconia belt, and the M2 dulled it in no time flat (of course I had no spare).
Now I'm thinking of attacking the blade with my body grinder for lack of any other option. Any suggestions?
TIA,
