Nice and simple - using found material is always nice. That cabinet design wouldn't work in California; the planes would be on the floor with the first shaker, but fine where the ground stays still.

Funny you should mention the outlet cover. I was looking at the pic before reading the text, and I noticed that, than I read the text, and seen that you beat me to the punch. Do get that taken care of straight away tho!

Going against a previously made statement about not 'collecting' plane, it stillis a collection so I wanted to know what I had so I Typed all the plane and ID'd a place for each plane.

My guess that these are mostly planes that waiting in the wings for future support if needed, but in the meantime are on display? I like that idea, I do feel that if you have the room to do it, displaying your collec, er, er, accumulations is a nifty idea as I like to see 'em if nothing else, and they do make for an interesting display. Unfortunately for me, at least for now, display space is not an option, but I'm working on it.

Why for is the knob on the plane on the bottom of the first row bent?

Scott the middle shelf has two Disston saw 'Jointers', the rest are saw sets.

I found the plane at my sons house. The guy who sold it to him left it along with many other tools.
