Anyone got bench plane spare parts?

>I'm getting ready for a kitchen remodel, and have decided to try fixing up a No. 4 frankenplane purchased last summer for the carpentry plane. It's missing the lateral adjust lever, and I'd rather not use the lever cap that's on it. Anyone got spares of these s/he'd be willing to donate (or trade for other things) to the cause?

>A block of wood makes a good lateral adjuster. Just tap, tap and you are there. If you find the part, installing it is pretty easy. I did the last one using a head clipped from a #8 finishing nail. The nail was the right size and the steel was soft. I removed the frog and put it on the vise anvil. Twenty or so careful taps on the back side with the ball pein and it was good to go. Good luck.

Ernie: no idea whether it's a Stanley. The body says "No. 4" in front of the knob and "Made in USA" behind it; the iron is a Union Tool iron. I think it may be a clone by someone.
