Help with ID on Wooden Router Plane

>Picked up this unmarked wooden router a stones throw from where Sandusky planes were made in Ohio. The primary wood appears to be beech and the wedge may be mahogany. It is made to accept cutters up to a half inch in width and I may be in the market to find someone who can fashion custom blades.

>I am not sure of your maker, but I have been very satisfied with St. James Bay Tool to buy replacement parts for my planes. I replaced the fence for my 78, and currently, I am waiting for the nickers for my 289. I think that he will make almost anything. He seems to be a great guy with a NY queen's accent and lives in Arizona. I guess this way he has both coasts covered.

>I am pretty certain it is a user home made plane. I see a good many of them though is a little unusual to see one that uses a wedge like that to hold the blade in place....Todd
