Sand Flex blocks are good
Charles R. Smith
>Yep, they work. I use them in all sorts of situations, many of which arise because I often have wet wood for turning, and it gets left where it shouldn't. If a Scotchpad (e.g., the gray one, similar to 4-0 steel wool) isn't enough to remove the rust, I grab the Sandflex blocks. I like to finish off with the finest grit block, which gives the surface a nice luster, followed by a bit of wax. Sometimes I will just use one to polish up a tool. These blocks seem to last a long time, in spite of how often I use them.
