Plow plane gloat!

>Like Phil I too am a hand tool forum lurker (I'm usually on the noisy side) but I'd like to think of myself as a Hybrid woodworker using whatever works from both sides. Actually I'm a hybrid engineer too working on GM's Hybrid team for my Day Job!
That said I remember when Ellis posted the first notice about Paul Hamler's Plow plane kits some months ago thinking it might be a fun project and a nice addition to my small group of planes. The only 8 left message the other day jarred me into action to contact Paul. What a nice guy! He sent the plane out before he had the payment in hand. I hope no one betrays that trust you put in other woodworkers. Well this morning I received the plane. I hope to work on it soon but reality is that I'll likely not get to it till this fall. Too much on my plate with #1 Daughter moving into her first house, doing some carpentry work on my house and getting ready to teach 3 classes at American Sycamore. It would be fun to use it in the Blanket Chest class in October but I'll likely not get it done before that. Now I need to get some different width plane blades for it!
