>It's been a few years since I kept up with stanley prices, though I seem to recall #85's going for 2 to 3 times this price. Was this just an unlucky close for the seller, or have these just dropped in price? I realize the blade is missing, but that seems like a pretty big hit for a missing blade or japaning issue for that matter....

What do you think? Perhaps I'm confusing memories with an #87
