Spokeshave ?

Barry Madsen

>I found a Spokeshave that has two blades side by side. One straight,One curved. The handle is stamped S, the irons Stanley Rule & Level Co. I'm wondering what this was used for, if anyone knows I'd appreciate the information.

Thanks,Barry

>It is simply a combination tool of a curved spokeshave for round work and a straight blade for flat work. I think the idea was to have to purchase only one spokeshave to do both kinds of work to do the same thing.
