>but in case someone's planning to replicate the dust hood, 22 gauge sheet metal is kind of overkill - 28 gauge is probably sufficient, and easier to come by at retail outlets. I would use galvanized, rather than aluminum - commonly available aluminum isn't stiff enough, and doesn't bend as well as galvanized. Plain (ungalvanized) "tin" (really steel) would be fine, too, but is darned rare.
>Now that's a real slick dust collector set up! coarse, I won't be using it as I have my contracors saw on top of a low 4 drawer chest that is on wheels to boot. Slick idea tho.
