How did #20 planes get to be called "bullnose?"

>I regularly search deBay for "bullnose," figuring someday someone will post a Record 077 that no one else will notice, and I can get it for $0.99 (not yet...).
Lately, I've seen at least three Stanley No. 20 planes listed as bullnose planes. Very nice and all that, and I'd sure like one, although the prices keep getting away from me, but where are people getting the idea that this is a bullnose plane?
