Then again you just might get a good deal on anotherwise somewhat expensive plane...

Try you hand at a 076 or other non-adjustable mouth planes if'in your looking for a nice bullnose plane.

Then why is this configuration of the Veritas Router Plane referred to as "bullnose" configuration?

Why isn't the configuration of the router plane shown above referred to a "chisel plane" configuration?

Woodcraft or someone used to offer a "bullnose" woodie that was actually a bevel-down chisel plane, so it does get confusing.

The nose pieces resemble a bullnose veranda.
