>Just finished plumbing the garage and the my basement shop for compressed air. I keep the air compressor up in the garage and got tried of running the hose down the stairs. Well a few months ago the dump solved my problem, someone dropped off a complete system with all the elbows (20), 'T' (15) about 120-150' pipe even 1/2 the couplings I needed the rest I had in my collection. I did have to go out and buy 2 unions, and a bottle of pipe dope. And today was their 20% off bag sale.

I've got 3 outlets in the garage, 4 down in the shop and when it warms up I going to pipe it thru the wall of the garage and the shop.

And the only electrons kill were from the cordless screwgun.

T.O. before you jump on me about the coupler and the piping in the upper left hand corner of the aren't straight, I know. The pic was before I finished anchoring all the pipe.

Oh ya, all the plumbing tools can from the dump also.

I wish I had a dump to solve my problems from time to time. Lucky Dog you!

Have an Uncle that used to say that any man could build with new lumber, but it took a smart man to build with used lumber. I feel that this also applies to other areas as well. Finding bits and pieces, odds and ends, and being able to cobble them into a functional item is in my book is mark a of a smart man as well.

It takes more than a great dump. Not wanting to blow my own horn, but you've got to have an eye for what's worth saving, or as I do, save as much as you can and get rid of the junk over time.

90% of this project came in altogether, but it was all the reducers, nipples and extra fittings I've collected over the years that is going to keep this project under $30 and not well over a $100. SWMBO would have fail to see the humor of that price tag for such a trivial project.

Many times I'll find an interesting item, and when asked what I intend to do with it, my response is "I dunno, but one day I bet I'll be happy that I have it" I also subscribe to Johhny Cashs' theory of "I got it one piece at a time. ;~)

>I do also Ken. I've been using one at work for a long time. When I found this laminated wood, I made a bunch of them for future use. I have one more as a spare. Now I'm looking for more material.
