>I have two saw vices, but I saw this vice on ebay and thought that it would be pretty nice to have. Now I am anything but expert, but what would make this vice sell for $1051.00. I realize that it was a D-3 and nice shape, but short of doing the work for me, I fail to see why this would cost so much. ebay item #150083606499

>I posted about this saw vise over on woodnet. It is pretty crazy how high it went for. I figured it would go for a couple hundred dollars but I never thought it would go over a thousand. I think I have seen saws from this seller before and they are always very clean, well described, and they sell for lots of money.

>That kind of price is only (IMHO) possible for condition/collection/rarity value, not functionality.
