I'm still very happy with the Record 043 and 044, they do everything I need, so I'm not in the market for one of these wooden beauties. But they sure are beautiful, and probably work a charm. I don't need this, I don't need this, .... :)
Tony often has some great stuff at truly bargain prices, even last year a pile of NOS Japanese chisels, scrapers, and knives (seems to have one of these left). Looks like the Brits invested in huge inventory 10-15 years ago, but they didn't sell as well as they'd have liked.
