Now Where Did I See That?

Jim Shaver Oakville, Ont.

>Hi,

Well I am like a lot of you and I have piles of woodworking magazines. Awhile ago I saw an article on wooden spoke shaves and they were ranked and reviewed.

Well now I can not remember what magazine that was in and what issue?

Does this topic ring a bell with any of you?

Thanks,

Take care,

Jim

Good luck,

Cover shows dovetails (lead article about cutting them). Back cover has several Federal style tables on it.

Let us know how your class goes.

No I do not want to buy a spoke shave, I was looking for the article so I can use it in the Spoke Shave class I am teaching at LV in less than two weeks. I wanted to show the class some of the varieties of shaves out there other than the Low Angle LV one we will be building.

I have made a LV before and I have a variety of shaves in my tool set. I just thought Chris's article was a good reference.

Take care,

Jim
