>Well almost. I still need to polish it up a bit. I started with some tough as nails silicon bronze mystery metal. Very pretty but machines like steel. It was just as easy to make two, so I did. Tapping was a real chore. The tap twisted like a straw and luckily had enough toughness not to snap. I milled out the business end and then sanded the cr*p out of it. The picture shows the new lever cap in the happy plane which has one of my special scrub blades. The twin is beside it shown in its rough condition. This plane really rocks! I like it better than my LN.

Nothing beats the LN Scrub IMO.

>Of course it simply MUST sport one of my hot rod blades. I was rushing to beat the batch deadline one night and the only stock I had on hand was 5/32". My favorite for scrubbing is 3/16", but this blade works well. I may have found a new standard. It is long enough to be considered *lifetime*.
