Curious - what kind of chisel is this
Stephen Kirk in Quakertown, PA
>I found this at my local flea market tool guy for 5 bucks, and I'd always wanted some larger chisels. This one is 1 1/2" wide by 11" long, with a short socket. At first, I thought it was a framing slick, but apparently they have a slight curve and longer sockets. Is it just a big firmer? At any rate, it was definitely used and sharpened. It's not perfect but has a shiny bevel and flattened back. I've got some uses for a big chisel, and with a handle, this will do fine.
The maker was Douglas Mfr, if that helps.
