but thanks also to Dave Jeske for getting it to me before January 11th (which it is today in Oz) as he has had a busy work schedule over Christmas and the new Year.
The workmanship is impeccable and I feel quite spoilt. These will make paring dovetails all the more fun.
This set is 1/8", 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2". In selected African Blackwood, which is so dark that it resembles Ebony.

Happy birthday for the 10th! $500 will buy you a lot of chisels!
Our wedding anniversary was on the 10th, the day before my birthday (I think my wife arranged it then so that I would not forget - would I do such a thing!). This year was our 25th anniversary. I should have got silver, but I got bronze instead: the LN #4 1/2 Anniversary plane. So I have done extraordinarily well for tools over this past year. I consider myself a very spoilt chappie. Hopefully I can share some of the pleasure of these tools with others.
