After reading Walt�s review I had to have this book to say it is BIG little is and understatement. So I put it on my wish list at LV and low and behold it showed up on my doorstep as a Christmas present. This book is very complete and has all of the hand planes by Stanley & Bailey covered. The prices seem pretty accurate except all of my planes fall in the first row. I had to go back and look up LCV (Limited Collector Value) note to self stay away form them. I have for years wanted the John Walters book but with it costing a fortune for an out of date book and the new one not to be seen this is the book to have. This book is BIG in information Pictures and accurate prices. Now to the little weighing in at 3 3/4X 4 � inches and just under a half inch thick this book fits in the inside breast pocket of my jean jacket. There is still room for my little Nikon digital and a turned pen or tw0 and a hand full of business cards. This book is always where you need it when you want it. Don�t leave home with out one. If I were you I would stroll down to your Local LV and pick one up or hop on line and order one for your self at $14.50 even the price is little
