Stanley 45 advice *LINK*

I do need help though. I don't know if the 45 appears to be complete as I've never owned one. Could you folks help with that part?

>the #45 is pretty complete. The plane is a newer model with the adjustable fence and it looks like it is in great condition. Blade set looks good but hard to tell about completeness from photo. I do not see the cam, short rods or screwdriver. The box is good to have. As is, a great user plane due to condition and adjustable fence.

>I have the same one, same box too. It's a SW sweet heart logo. As Jim said, no cam, short rods or screwdriver. Also It's looks like it only has 1 box of blades, it should have 2 boxes.
BTW I paied around $220.00 for mine a few years back. So be carefull and ask the seller some questions...

>Dean, I believe you should just by a 45 off of ebay. I think that the price is going to skyrocket towards the end of the auction. If you do bid and win you could just keep the 45 and sell the violin parts, possibly the chisels, and I do believe I see a Stanley No.100 Squirrel tail block plain. You may even make out on a nice price on the 45 if you list all of the lot by themselves. By the way the 45 is complete but I believe it came with 2 boxes of cutters. If only the special cutters were there!

The bottom Looks flat to me
Also, I think I got a name of 'Herring, London' off one chisel and the name 'Howarth' off another - but they are very difficult to make out
