>I will be going to Williamsburg again this year, but won't be able to make the breakfast. I'm overnighting Friday nite with a woodworking friend and his wife in the Philly area and then going to visit his woodworking school on Saturday morning. Inspection tour ya know!

This year I'm not attending the actual conference itself since the joined styles of 17th century furniture are to my mind just plug ugly and crude. I will be at the SAPFM annual meeting and the Cartouche Award banquet. I'm going to spend my time touring the historic area to catch the places I've missed on previous trips and to take a whole bunch of pictures of some of the architectural millwork in the houses. SWMBO has plans for replacing the interior trim in our house with some nicer stuff and I need to get some ideas to run by her for approval.

Looking forward to seeing you guys again. Some of the guys in a local group were admiring my drawknife sheath so much that we are going to take a meeting from a woodwroking topic and go to a Tandy leather store for some instruction and, hopefully, making some protectors for hand tools.

A lot of them are simple enough to make and don't require any specialized tools and take a minimal amount of leather. They're also good starter projects for anyone that is interested in leatherworking. I'll be glad to make some more suggestions at the breakfast. :)

I hope I got this right! First thing be prepared for the "Mixing Bowl" to look different! They've been doing a lot of work there and it doesn't quite look the same.

The Bob Evans I have (I'm sure it's the right one - but if not, someone correct me!) is at 6310 Augusta Drive, Springfield, VA. If you're coming from around I-495 toward Richmond you need to take the Keene Mill Rd Exit and (I believe) there's an exit off the exit ramp for Brandon Av - you can take Brandon down to Commerce and take a right on Commerce and Bob Evans will be on the right. If you miss Brandon (or prefer not to take it) you can take a right onto Backlick Road and go down to Commerce and take a right on Commerce and the Bob Evans will be on the right. If you're not coming that way - let me know and I'll redo the directions.

>Unless that is not convenient for you Jim. I will get there early enough to reserve a table for 5 or 6 . Skips directions are good just make sure that you take any exits you see for local Springfield destinations or you will end up in Lorton before you know it.
