LV router for rabbets

>One job that I can't seem to find the right tool for is cutting the rabbet in the back of a case for recessing a plywood back. I usually score it,plane as much as I can with a rabbet block plane, then finish with a 75(and usually nick myself with that unfriendly little beast).Final clean up with a chisel.

I just discovered that my new LV router with the optional fence does that job(the whole rabbet)nicely.Just have to score the limits to eliminate tearout and start at the end and work my way back just like a molding plane.I remove the fence for final corner cleanout.

On one cabinet I've used this brand new to me tool so far for two operations(dado and rabbet)and theres one more to go(half laps).I like my 71 but this tool is easier to use and more versatile.

Now I need to figure out how to store it. I'm thinking an open box(easy to grab when needed) with compartments for the accessories.

Nice tool Rob---Jack
